We’ve made it past hump day and we’re in the home stretch. As your Thursday starts to drag, take a moment to get psyched about the weekend and all the fun, free time to come. We can’t think of a better way to spend it than exploring all the interesting components of Wyebrook Farm.
Farmer Dean and his crew love having visitors so much that they’ve decided to open the Market & Cafe on Friday from 3 to 7, instead of just the weekend. If you have Saturday afternoon entertaining to do, especially some that involves a barbecue, then Wyebrook Farm Market & Cafe is now your go to spot for weekend grilling goods.
Plus, that’s not all the news on the Wyebrook homefront. They have another “Crossabaw” pig this week. These “not the other white meat” pigs have much flavor and have always surpassed customer satisfaction in the past. There will also be many of the books that Farmer Dean read about the food system and modern agriculture for sale in the market. Among these books is one called Pig Perfect by Peter Kaminsky that explains the history of the Ossabaw and of many pork traditions. They are there for all to enjoy so be sure to grab a copy when swinging by for your weekend groceries.
The cafe will have it’s usual line-up of hearty cuisine along with live tunes from Chris Kasper on Saturday. He’ll play from 2 to 5pm so stop in, grab some grub and chow down!
