There’s no better way to bid adieu to Summer and welcome the new season than alongside good company, great food, craft beer and music. Now that fall has officially arrived, you’ll be able to find all those wonderful items at this Sunday’s Downingtown FallFest presented by Victory Brewing Company and organized by the Downingtown-Thorndale Regional Chamber of Commerce. The seasonal celebration will take place on Lancaster Avenue in downtown Downingtown between Wallace Avenue and Green Street from noon to 4 p.m. If you’re unsure of the area, feel free to map it out here or review directions on the FallFest website.
Getting there is only your first step in the fun filled day, but there is much more to explore upon arrival. Thankfully, The Town Dish has all the details for you, and in an orderly fashion. WHAT: Downingtown FallFest presented by Victory Brewing Company

WHERE: Lancaster Avenue, between Wallace Avenue and Green Street
WHEN: 12 to 4 p.m.
WHY: Celebrate the season with local restaurants, goods from local businesses, and tons of other crafts and goodies.
HOW MUCH: Free to attend – vendors and Victory Beer Garden are pay as you go.
DRINK: The Victory Beer Garden will be located in the parking lot next to Minquas Fire Department (202 East Lancaster Ave.). There is no cost to enter but food and beer will be available for CASH ONLY once inside the beer garden. Beer will cost $5 for each 16 oz. serving. No strollers, no beer without a wrist band, and no smoking. Beers on tap will include:

4. Headwaters Pale Ale
EAT: Local restaurants will be serving up fresh food items priced differently per vendor. Offerings to look forward to include cuisine from:

SHOP: Many craft and general vendors will also be on site with unique creations available for purchase and pertinent information to be shared. Everything from flowers and jewelry to clothing and beauty products will fill the streets of Downingtown. A full (and lengthy) list of vendors is available HERE.
DANCE/LISTEN: Guests of Downingtown FallFest, while partaking in the many activities already available to them, will be serenaded by live music from the School of Rock House Band and Best of Seasons Band. Feel free to listen as you meander through the festival or stop and bust a move if the time is right.
GAZE: Those who attend should also take a break from the eating, drinking and exploring to catch an incredible display of death-defying feats from The Free Cycle Action Sports Team. The one of a kind shows will take place at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
SMILE: Stop by The Town Dish’s Photo Booth to strike four poses and take home a photo strip that will help you always remember the special FallFest day. Don’t be afraid to grab our life sized spoon or fork and get goofy with it. We hope to see your pearly whites there!
