15th Annual Chile Pepper Food Festival

September 8 Posted by Amy Strauss No Comments

Eastern Pennsylvania’s notorious pepper festival is coming to Bowers this weekend, featuring a jalapeno eating contest and an amateur salsa contest, plus a field excursion into pepper fields. As one of the biggest outdoor pepper festivals in the country, spend Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11 from 9 am to 6 pm tackling various spiced vendors, including our local Chile Spot who promises premieres of new products.

In addition to the pepper and salsa eating contests, the 15th Annual food festival will also host the Acoustic Road Show with live music provided all day long, on both days.

The Chile Pepper Fest is located at William Delong Park on Bowers Road. Find more information and a photographic recap from last year at www.pepperfestival.com.
